Thur 8/22/13: Look what I found…the WORDPRESS button. I haven’t been writing much, but don’t think for one minute I have worked out or been spreading the word of fitness!
To be honest I’m just flat out tired…really need some time off to relax, decompress, and get re-focused. Lots of changes going on in my world right now….so unfortunately, cannot take a break.
Anyway, not complaining….just gotta go thru the process. I’ll just deal with THURSDAY for right now.

Mon. 3/25/13: Alright everybody!!!!! Let’s go. Last week of March…Easter Weekend- usually means some xtra calories taken in. Let’s Prepare!
My last post was about evaluating where you are right now in your fitness program. Are you working out consistently? Are you making better food choices consistently? Are you getting enough rest? Do you read about fitness,workouts,healthy recipies, etc? There is so much info out there to help you and motivate you. If your’re not doing so well…start over. This is not rocket science…it’s all about choosing to change bad habits. For me, it’s a way of life…I’m fit, and healthy. I take no meds…have a good body weight,blood pressure,resting heart rate, etc….because I work at it! I wish this for everyone out there too. I live in Mississippi…the most obese state in the U.S. Do you realize how many people that is? It’s an uphill battle here…I will continue to help those who want to be helped. Life is so much easier when you are healthy!
So, please…do it for yourself. Take a look at where you are right now…make adjustments, ask for help, start reading and learning, join a gym, get a trainer, buy a home program…move that body. Moving the body is a requirement. Let’s do this together…there is still a lot of life to live!
Jan 31,2013: What a long month! The month for new beginnings, starting over, resolutions, goals…whatever you want to call it has come to an end. Some off us are diligent moving along…this is awsome! Some of us are struggling…but hanging on…this is awsome also! Don’t give up! Some off still have not started…this is not good. It’s not to late to get off your behind. That’s up to you and only you to DECIDE changing your sedentary lifestyle is good for you. Hoping it happens! Let’s move on…..
Feb. is upon us. A nice short month. Time to start thinking about spring… outdoor events, tennis,golf, baseball, warm sunshine, beach trips. There is work to be done. Re eval your goal from Jan. and see where you are. Raise the bar on the things you’re doing good at. Work harder or spend more time on the things your weaker at. Ask questions. Get help. If workouts are your weakness…hire a trainer for a few sessions to get you going. It’s like taking lessons. You can do this. You can eat healthier! You can exercise! You can run better, farther, faster. You can do better at whatever you want… just get the info and help that you need and do the dern work!!
