Monday morning…last day of March…can you believe it?
First of all thanks for the Birthday greetings I have received. It was a good birthday and I appreciate all the kind thoughts. I am thankful for my good health, decent attitude, and friends…so that I may enjoy such events.
Just another reason why I get on this blog and write about health and fitness. Our health is pretty much the most important thing we have. Most people don’t think about it until they are to overweight, can’t take a flight of stairs, won’t get outside and move…..
I think about health and fitness everyday….
Make today be the day you start thinking about your health!
Get up and start moving that body. Start paying attention to what you put in your body. The formula is simple…eat fruits, veggies, and move that body!
I am not working towards retirement to sit on my rump, to go see a doctor every week for 10 different ailments.
Some things in life are not in our control…that’s a fact. What we eat and how we take care of our body is in our control…that’s a fact!

Today is my 1(one) year anniversary creating this blog. I started it by accident…people responded…so I just kept it up.
I plan to keep it going in 2014 as well. I like to write thoughts down, things I learn! and share articles and pictures I come upon.
I still write in my Facebook group and on Linkeden. These are my main 3 sites. Hopefully, some people will keep reading, asking questions, and become motivated/inspired.
I have a busy life just like everyone else. Lots of good things happen and sometimes there are rough spots. The best thing we can do in life is have a good attitude, be grateful, and take care of our valuable bodies. Good luck this year in every area! Let’s get the year started!

A quitter never gets where they are going.  We’re into the 3rd week of the New Year…Jan is a long month.  It’s cold in the mornings and dark when you get home from work in the evening for most of us.  For, those of us whose enthusiaim is starting to fade with our new fitness attitude….DON’T let it happen.  This is not commitment about just working out….it’s commitment about our own personal well being.  This is your “HEALTH” we’re talking about.  It’s more important than anything else.  If you don’t have it….Well, life probably won’t be to much fun.  So, get up!!! Go to the gym,the basement, the living room floor, the backyard….wherever it is you can get 20, 30 min. in…don’t be a quitter.

Warm up: jog in place-30sec., inch worm-5x, jump jack-30sec., squats- 8 rep, plank 20 sec.  Repeat 2x.

Circuit: Burpee- 30 sec, swing lunge-30sec ea leg {front lunge into a back lunge is one}, plank-30 sec.  Rest 30 sec repeat2x.

Jump Jack-30 sec, sumo squat 30 sec, side plank 30 sec ea side.  Rest 30 sec. Repeat 2x

Side to side steps- 20 sec {basketball drill- get down low step sideways a few steps then back the other way}Rest 20 sec.  Repeat up to 10x.

Now take a shower, eat a good breakfast, have a good attitude and a great day.  No Quitting!
